Why do I love Lavender Essential Oil?

Lavender!

Who doesn't love lavender?  I know it one of my favorite essential oils.  Why? Lavender is the most versatile of all the oils.

1. It helps you Relax!
It is great for relaxation. I use in the diffuser with a lot of calming recipes. One of them is:
3 drops of lavender
3 drops of lemon
2 drops of clary sage.
I use Lavender in a lot of my calm roller ball recipes. One of my favorite roller ball recipes with lavender is a head relief blend:
10 drops of Lavender
10 drops of Peppermint
10 drop of Frankincense.

How to use it:

  • Add 3 drops of Lavender to your diffuser before going to sleep.
  • Put a drop of Lavender in your hand, rub clockwise, cup hands over your nose and inhale.
  • Just inhale it out of the bottle!
  • Add 10 to 15 drops to a glass spray bottle and fill half with witch hazel and half with distilled water and spray pillow or around room.
  • Put 15 drops of Lavender in a 10 ml glass roller bottle and fill halfway with a carrier oil.
2. It Is Good For Your Skin
Just about everything skin! From beauty care to nasty bites. You can put lavender in your favorite nighttime lotion to help you relax or put it in your favorite skincare lotion for crows feet. Lavender has antiseptic properties.

How to use:

  • Add a 15 drops to 1 cup of Epson salt and mix. Then add a few tablespoons to bath for a relaxing bath.
  • Mix 15 drops of Lavender and 15 drops of Frankincense in a 10 ml bottle fill with a carrier oil for a facial skin serum.

3. Seasonal DiscomfortLavender is great for seasonal discomfort. I put Lavender in my empty vegetable capsules every day. I put 3 drops of Lavender, 3 drops of Lemon, 2 drops of peppermint and 2 drops of copaiba in a empty vegetable capsule top it with a carrier oil and take it with plenty of water.  I also make a 10 ml roller bottle 10 drops of Lavender, 10 drops of peppermint, 10 drops of Lemon and 10 drops of Copaiba.  I fill the rest with a carrier oil.

Here are some other things Lavender is good for:

-Good nights rest

-relaxation

-stretch marks

-Hair Loss
