Essential Oils That Are Good For Your Epilepsy/Seizures

Image
If you don't know it by now I have Epilepsy.  I also use essential oils. I have done some research to make sure that I don't use the wrong essential oils that can possibly cause me to have a seizure but also I have looked for essential oils that can help with my seizures.  Now I am not saying these essential oils you can take in place of medication no that would be dangerous! You should always take your seizure medication and follow your doctors orders. What I am saying is that through my experience these essential oils have helped me either stop a seizure from coming on (in stressful situations and lack of sleep situations).  Here is a list of essential oils that you can use to help with seizures (along with your regular seizure medication, of  course). Frankincense - I put this one diluted on my big toe when I feel a seizure coming on, have had extra stress and have a stress headache, or haven't had enough sleep and I feel the effects right away (I always dilute all

Essential Oils to Avoid if you are Eplipetic

When it comes to my health I don't play around.  That's why I started using essential oils. When I first started using essential oils, one of the things I researched was were there any essential oils that were going to effect my epilepsy.  I came across a lot of different articles and eventually bought the Essential Oils Desk Reference.  I am always cautious though when it comes to seizures so I found more oils on the internet than what was published in the Essential Oils Desk Reference.  If an oil is in one of my favorite blends such as Thieves, I use it sparingly (I would only do this if your seizures are completely under control but I am not a medical professional so I would ask your doctor first). Oils to Avoid If You Have Epilpesy Borage Camphor Eucalyptus Globus Foeniclum Vulgare - Fennel* Oenothera Blennis - Evening Primrose  Hyssopus Officinalis - Hyssop* Mentha Pulegium - Pennyroyal Rosmarinus Offiniclis - Rosemary Salvia Offoinalis - Sage* Juiperus Savi

cript async src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js">  I have epilepsy and I also have insomnia. Sometimes I don't get a lot of sleep at night and also I am under stress which can be bad for people who have epilepsy. Well today was a bad day for what I call stress headaches or lack of sleep headaches. So I looked up what essential oil to use. I tried frankincense at the base of my big toe and thieves in the roof of my mouth and within 1 minute I was feeling better! Later on in the day I applied frankincense again and it helped me not only with my headache due to lack of sleep but also the feeling that I was going to have a seizure went away. I am so grateful!  . This information is not meant to treat, cure, or prevent anything! My Young Living Seasonal Essential Oil Routine

I usually get bad head pain from all the pollen and dander because I have severe  seasonal sensitivities to the outdoors. I have tried everything for them  and nothing worked until now. I just started taking the vitality line of my young  living essential oils seasonal trio. I put lavender, lemon and peppermint in a  empty vegetable capsule (3 drops of lavender, 3 drops of lemon, 2 drops of  peppermint and 2 or 3 drops of copaiba depending on how bad the seasonal discomfort is     that day). I add copaiba because it helps enhance the other oils. Another thing I do, is when the pollen and dust are bad or if I start to feel pain coming on, I  have a mixture in a glass dropper bottle of the lavender, lemon,  peppermint and copaiba  mixed with a carrier oil.  I rub it on my jawline, my  temples, my sinuses and the bridge of my  nose. I have been able to keep my  headaches at bay and I am so grateful because I used  to  have headaches for  days with no relief! I a

Essential Oils for Anxiety

cript async src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"> First I want to talk about why I use essential oils for my anxiety.  The first reason why is because I would rather use something natural and good for my body than keep putting more and more medication into my body.  Medication has unwanted side effects and is harmful to the body in many ways.  Medication is also man made.  Essential oils are plants that come from the earth and are natural.  I was so happy when I was introduced to Young living essential oils! Another big reason is both of my parents died of cancer! I am so worried that I will end up with cancer too.  There are so many carcinogens out there that we encounter every day especially in our homes.  They are in our cleaning products, in our soaps, shampoo, candles, air fresheners, plastic containers and other things we use on a daily basis.  I have already started to take most of these out of my life by using Young Living plant based p

The reason why I do this is because I want to make sure it works for me. If it doesn't, I am not wasting so much oils. But I do keep it and either try it again later or give it to someone else as a gift for them to try.
